LANCER BUSTS IN!

Lancer wasn't hard to miss, being such a pure solid color amongst the darker backgrounds of Tanglewood. But he certainly tried, slinking among the undergrowth and crouching low to the ground when he spotted Kris. He hadn't seen this one before. He liked their sweater. Looked pretty warm. Curled tail waggling, he burst out from the leaves and darted in front of Kris with a wild grin, sticking out his frayed tongue. "NO INTRUDERS ALLOWED!!" he roared. It wasn't much of a warning, considering all the giggles he had to push through when he spoke. It caught the child by surprise when Kris didn't speak, and instead chose to mime out their actions, causing Lancer to falter and tilt his head. He didn't understand. He wasn't the greatest with nonverbal communication. But he perked up quickly. "You here to join?" he asked curiously. He noticed a lot of "intruders" lately where only here to join the family. The chance that this one was any different was... unlikely. The feline didn't look very threatening at all.
