sephiroth was still here... that was a good sign. they somewhat expected all their former friends to have vanished just as the mortems had. it was good to see at least one friendly face remained thus far. peytriviing smiled halfheartedly at the welcomed return, eyes glancing around for any others that might come by. so far their thoughts were focused on pres, hoping for the leopard to appear from the line of foiliage. sephiroth's announcement of leadership quickly caused those thoughts to crumble, and the manticore's expression faltered.

"he's gone?" they murmured. it was obvious who they were speaking of. their relationship with pres was.. close. after prestige had lost his memories, then pey being promoted to his guard, they had become good friends over time. pey liked to think of the former leader as one of their best friends.

they looked to the tree line once more, hoping for something.

instead their sights came to a small maekoda.

they waited patiently for koda to finish writing down what he needed to, and read the message carefully. they chuckled at the comments on their appearance. "sure, give me a sec..." they picked up the notebook and pen, writing down their name and their nickname 'pey' right next to it. they gave it back to koda with a small smile.

"so how's... how's the new territory doin' for everyone?" they asked the pair.
