wow, buddy tasks. that sounded really cute, quaint! venus wasn't sure whether or not they liked the prospect of having to work together with another person who might have a different opinion on how to go about their task, but liked the idea. it was just a slightly more difficult task than most to let go of some pride, force venus become less competitive. but it was just so hard since everything was a competition if you just tried hard enough.
