His eyes caught a glimpse of Caesar, no more than a stranger in his eyes, burned and ashen. Had he started this? The lammergeier was unsure. He was unaware of any recent joiners over the past months, having chosen to hide away and bury his beak in his studies. But he was present. And there had been nobody else in the ghost town that he could see. And as much as he wanted to charge towards the feline in a fit of anger, his wings locked up, focus trained on the walls of fire now slowly inching to the other cabins. Fire was evil. And he could do nothing but huddle next to his own cabin, scared and in shock as the flames licked away at what was once his home.
