She was always alert even if she wasn't a guard anymore, with the life she had lived it was impossible for her to ever truly completely relax or change. The two foot tall calico was wandering the rain forest again, teleporting over any water sources that got in her way. Drawn in by her natural instinct to keep the group safe, not realizing something she should have noted from the beginning as she drew towards a presence on the border. Large paws made no noise as the long haired feline strolled through the foliage, pale and crystal clear through the greenery since most of her pelt was white. Mismatched optics blinked slowly as if she couldn't care less about what she was seeing, gaze entirely empty as she neared. Of course, she had always been like this, the walking dead with no outwardly visible emotions, but her actions with those who managed to be close, more than proved that she cared in someway. Even without the calico ever saying a word, there had been many in the past, long gone now to her knowledge, who knew that she cared for them as best she was capable of, having all emotion traumatized and trained out of her as it was.
Jiyu never noticed anything amiss, until the creature spoke his name, but it was too late she'd already revealed herself, no running would save him now. She didn't have to introduce herself, nothing of that sort was required, she already knew all of it. The adviser already knew so many things, like how he inherited her sweet tooth and everything else a mother should know about her child. "What is your proposition." she was always somewhat distant, never overly affectionate, but it was odd that she took a step backwards when continuing the conversation. Even if she was not the most emotional, Jiyu had always been dotting to a degree making sure all the basic needs were met, not backing off from her responsibility. However, she had just stepped back away from the other feline because her child was better off without any of her influence, she was the worst example possible for those she bore. Only it had taken one of her lion children murdering prestige months ago, for her to realize how horrible she was for her children.
He was hurt, Fight needed to lay down somewhere now, this was ridiculous but she couldn't get close much less touch him. Blood and death clung to her in the form of scent, always had, while he smelled of sugar and cotton candy. Even with the occasional addition of blood from some injury he had sustained? Fright was so pure compared to her, an innocent child whom she could accidently corrupt and twist without even being aware of it, but only if she allowed herself to! She needed to take him home and lay him down with a warm blanket until she could find some healer for him, but she couldn't touch him, she just couldn't. If she let herself touch him? She would unavoidably let him back into her heart, and he would soak up her darkness, become a monster just like her, Jiyu couldn't let that happen to him. How could she bring them into this world only to destroy their best chances? She couldn't do it.
