Almost amusing would such a word in regards to this place, though within its own way it held a beauty. Nestled within the water, tones of sapphire and emerald brought together with touches of more, the life within toned as though they were jewels caught beneath the very surface, the town was a cluster of gentle tones. A great deal were coloured in pastel shades, bright and welcome though time had worn upon each structure in turn, removed from it some of the charm. Caught in the middle the greenhouse was the darkest of them all, the deep green shade of its glass gleaming beneath the light of the sun.
Almost may such be deemed a heaven if not for the life contained within, once what may have been sleepy had reached a level that left it fit to burst. Though there was a benefit from such, the political landscape about them turbulent and any assistance would be welcome, though this cost was almost too much.
“A place to stay, food, wares if you wish to trade, times have been.. rough but you will be safe and have all you may need,” words passed dark lips lifted in the slight shape of a small smile, though tight about the edges. Esma bore no care to speak of the prior events, within time this stranger would learn of each event that had made their time here difficult, unnecessary information if he bore no care to stay amongst them. “Might I ask your name?” Attention flicked towards where a leg had been severed, cut away to leave the ragged flesh in need to mending, slow to such. Though there was no outward problems, at least within such clear fashion as the lack of a limb, but they knew well pain. Joints hurt the further into the cold season they went, pain finding root until it grew, the ache of chest and back, chronic at this point, growing in intensity.
