He doesn't try to overly show it but Lucifer does have fondness for near all the residents here - save maybe ceasar - and with one cantankerous reaver, he does his best not to show what wouldn't be (he presumes) welcomed - then again, for all that he is progressing at it, Lucifer has never been 100% good with communication, but, he tries.

it this that he notes Bakugou's disappearance - he notes when everyone goes missing or disappears, knows sosmetimes he won't see those ones again and another part of something frail in his already empty chest crumbles a little further.

he's old, is lucifer - and yet he feels every bit his age when he watches another friend or even family wander away for what could be the last time.

but he finds some relief in the note on the cantankerous' reavers desk - and nods quietly to himself, inwardly wishing Baku luck on his training while he is gone.

he doesn't dwell on the what ifs of the ill-tempered but fondly regarded reaver possibly never returning.
