when you get to his age - somewhere far beyond the millions, but then what is time to an extra dimensional eldritch entity in the form of a mortal body? albeit an ageless one - holidays tended to blur past you, mostly because there were so many and on his timescale, it was often like everyday became a holiday.

not to say he didn't observe the ones where he was currently bound - nor not participate and given his nature to be an absolute parent to near anyone that vaguely emitted 'helpless child' or 'I need help' waves, it wouldn't be so odd that the massive beast did harbour the candy for this most auspicious trick or treating decision.

the roseblood's trick or treaters were only so lucky that it wasn't ceasar who'd stumbled across them first after going straight across the borders - the cantankerous swiss cheese probably would have attacked first, questioned later.

"Well well, what's this, a small ghost?" the vantablack dragon rumbled - seemingly materialising ut of the dark of the forest behind him - eyes sliding to the familiar silver figure, albeit dressed somewhat for the effort "and bodyguard seems" he mused with a slight amused smile.

good job Lucifer was always prepared - because dad as he was, with three raptors currently whom he spoiled, he did have some treats at least - especially when he noticed such an auspicious date n the metaphorical calendar (he could say this might be a favourite holiday, he did so love the spooky atmosphere)

"fear not fearsome poltergeist, for I have your desired treats no need for tricks" he slung the small bag from a spike along his neck - good thing those spikes, good for fastening passengers or luggage too, might as well given he ended up 'taxi dragon' often enough - and dropped a fair few treats in the small basket.
