[div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 70%; text-align: justify;"]Dropping temperatures were rare and seldom happened on the island. Due to their tropical climate, it stayed rather warm throughout the entire year. Coming from Alaska, it had been a difficult change of pace for him. It had been a few months since he showed up at the border, but a lot had happened since then. Victor finally grew use to the warm climate, though, he did still miss the cold and snowy Alaskan climate. "Sure is," barked the Siberian husky as he trotted forward. There was always a ton of strangers at the border, though no one would catch him complaining. Most were joiners, but many vanished after a few days. It was a pity. Victor would have enjoyed getting to know some of the new faces. "What can I do for you?"
The pain in his leg was nonexistent and he was simply itching to go for a run. While that was the case, he had to be careful to no injure it for a third time. Generally, long patrols around the border drowned out his drive. Even so, he needed to find someone who could heal him for good. While he was sure the healers here were good at what they did, Victor doubted they had the proper tools to fix him. He had caught wind of a group to the south who healed injuries such as his, and he always thought about going. He would leave that trip there for another day. For now, he had other priorities to worry about.
