She never had time to think about such things, about who made the world they lived in and the people themselves. Really, if she had ever stopped to wonder, she would have thought that it didn't matter--nothing like that mattered to someone who was serving. All that did was working and avoiding trouble. But that had changed, and in her still moments, her mind would wander. Still, the question was too confusing and open-ended for her, so she always ended up thinking about other things.
