Everyone reacted to death differently with each other. The groups that were used to seeing the aspect of death usually didn't bat an eye to death and believed that if their friend died that hey would only come back. Which usually wasn't the case, which is why he always treated the aspect of someone dying as something that was permanent. Not everyone was lucky enough to be reincarnated, and he knew the next time that he himself died he was most likely going to stay dead from that point on. Then there were groups such as the one that he had lead for a couple years that wasn't exactly used to death, but also wasn't at the degree of being numb to it all. Those that had never been in a clan before would realize that there was plenty of violence to be had within the groups. Some said that joining a clan would be the safest course of action when it came to finding shelter, but sometimes it was the exact opposite. Ichigo had been astonished by how violent the groups were till one another instead of finding out an ultimatum at the end so that they would be able to work together. Ichigo knew that there were never be peace in the world. Violence and peace needed to balance each other out, and with animals such as themselves mixed with other beast it also just meant that a fight would break out eventually. Ichigo had no idea what was happening between the Ascendants and Sunhaven. He didn't even know who the Ascendants were and what they were capable of doing. He didn't know the story of the other group, and he also had no idea what kind of scent that they had attached to them either.
The Shinigami hadn't dealt with clan affairs in a long time, and from the looks of it the group was having to deal with a lot of issues with whatever this group was. Ichigo didn't enjoy the idea of watching someone die. When he was younger, he had the idea that he would always be strong enough to protect those that deserved to be protected and keep them alive. That was why he wanted power. That was why when he did finally lose his powers for the first time he felt like a shell of his former self. He was always used to being somewhat strong compared to others and seeing the corpses that laid across the ground pissed him off to no extent. It probably wasn't obvious with the way that his facial expression was, as he was always scowling angrily about something. A permanent expression that he had picked up and it just stuck with him. His clanmates had once made fun of him before. One would, however, notice the slight change in temperature of the surrounding area. The temperature rising to a couple degrees as he looked down at one of the corpses of the younger animals. His jaw clenched as his back was to anyone that would approach the scene. Hallucinations played in front of his vision as he looked at the dead domestic cat that was on the ground. The image of his dying daughter in his arms in front of the assassin that had killed her. They had been at war with that clan, but because of that war he had lost something precious to him, and he was left with nothing again. A growl escaped Ichigo's jaws as he was seen shaking his head as if trying to shake away the memory and the screams. "Calm down. Now is not the time to freak out." Ichigo growled inside of his head, but it wasn't really meant for him, but instead of the parasite that lived in his body. He knew that the beast wanted to go out and actually have some form of action as Ichigo hadn't fought in at least a year time.
The over-sized cougar heard movements that were coming toward him and tore his gaze away from the cooling corpse on the ground, turning to look at the male that was staring at him during the meeting. When he turned to face the other male, the whites of his right eye were slightly black, but the brown colored remained in his right eye while his left eye was still yellow. Ichigo's breathing slowed slightly and the inky color in his right eye could be seen slowly receding, but it wouldn't be completely gone by the time others would arrive. He didn't trust Cryptic. In truth, he didn't know the other being's name, but the other obviously wasn't mortal or Hollow. When the other spoke, it made Ichigo's bi-colored eyes narrow slightly. Seemed the other had caught on that he was something different about him. That didn't mean that Ichigo was going to be open about it with the larger animal. "There's a scent here that I don't recognize and they obviously went in an obvious direction." Ichigo stated calmly instead as he pointed in the opposite direction of the border. He didn't know the other groups around in this area, so there wasn't much he could do. Cryptic's aura and the way it moved was enough to make Ichigo concerned about the other male, but his facial expression remained like that of a scowl. Another aura began to make their way over toward the two males, and he turned his head in the direction to see a large canine. His eyes would slightly widen at the condition of the canine, however. The aura shifted and grew in an unnatural way. White and black mixed with each other in a corrupted manner, and just by the look on the others face she was obviously ill. It looked almost as if she had been infected with something like he had been when he was younger. Although he had lived with it the majority of his life. And instead of white liquid, black liquid was starting to leak out of the females mouth.
Ichigo had no idea who she was. The female didn't say anything as she approached, and Ichigo opened his mouth to try and say something but closed it when he was unsure of what to say. It was when she started to grab one of the corpses and drag it away though, and he watched as she too quickly disappeared into the landscape. "Hey lady!" Ichigo called out to the larger canine, much larger than he was by at least 3ft. Ichigo had no idea where the female planned on going, but he wasn't going to let someone else die around here either. "I'm going after here." Ichigo stated to really no one in particular, as he didn't really wanna lose track of her, but he had to address a couple things here before leaving. They didn't need another corpse in the pile. Hearing something land on the ground made the over-sized cougar jump slightly where he was standing. The wildcat turned his head to look at a griffon, a species that hung deep in his heart as his daughter had a griffon as a companion back where he was from. An angered look spread across the others facial features at the others last comment, a growl coming from his mouth.
"This isn't a joking manner. Take this seriously. Obviously weren't going to figure out who did this, but trying to cause something out of fun is just being a dumbass." The griffon was probably bigger than Ichigo, but the Shinigami didn't really care with the nonchalant manner the other was speaking about the massacre and enjoying the thought of causing chaos. It reminded him too much of Dimitri. Ichigo didn't even know the griffon, and his words may be considered harsh, but he also wasn't mentally healthy in the slightest. His attention would then turn toward a slightly familiar aura of Wendell as the wolverine approached. Ichigo's facial expression changed from angry to that of a frown as the black tip of his tail flicked behind him. Thrown into the fray immediately after he decided to join a clan. Maybe this wasn't the best option. His attention would turn back to the griffon. "If you want to help, keep everyone away from this scene, and if Wendell will let you take him back to camp so we can clean this up and give the corpses a proper burial." Ichigo said more calmly this time, his mind going into autopilot. Maybe he shouldn't be giving orders, but they needed to get this sorted before someone came across it and became scarred for life. His attention would look over toward Cryptic, wondering if the other was going to mention anything before turning toward the direction the lady went.
