As time moved on Sunhaven was getting attacked again and again. It seemed that Lady Fate had no mercy in store for the seaside group and she wasn't about to spare them any soon. Not with her sickness and not even with their troubles with the Ascendants. Even smelling the scent of blood and broken flesh, decay and rot the lone leader did nothing but move forward as if in a daze. Her eyes lingered on nothing and yet she was seeing everything at once. Hearing screams in her head, words drifting in and out as if played like a movie and captured in time. The world had gone black for her, faces and images shifting as her black eyes looked toward the man corpses that laid upon their lands. These were innocent creatures, builders, sellers, those that had all been taken away and for what purpose and point. Because the Ascendants just wouldn't say away. It was a burden, a harsh recollection of the moments that had passed by and had become reality. Her chest ached as she walked, overly heated from because of her sickness slowly pushing past the ones that had already showed up at the scene. They were here but then they were not at the same time and she barely heard their voices as they lifted up into the air. A gurgling sound lifted from her throat, words too hard to form and stressing her weakened form, so she said nothing.
Instead she lowered her muzzle, that black ooze slipping out from between clenched teeth and onto a corpse. Her nostrils also oozed with the same liquid but her jaws merely moved to grasp the half eaten corpse and pull it with her. The body made a sickening noise but the woman didn't care, her mind was set and her mission was made. She had to tell them about this or perhaps die trying. Whatever the outcome was she was already sick enough that jumping her would look more like a crime then anything else. And if she did leave Sunhaven behind Bucky was able enough to step up in her place. A necessary sacrifice to stop this....stop it from getting out of hand and murdering them all.
