— AFRICAN LION x CANE CORSO ; RATTLESNAKE MUTATIONS
— BLACK WITH SUBTLE BROWN TINTS & FIERY HIGHLIGHTS
Lazarus's face is somewhere between canine and crotaline, with smooth features covered in short, almost bristly fur from a canine nose to between his ears. There, it gets longer and thicker like a lion's mane, fluffy and untamed down his neck and around it, to where it fades at his chest. Though it falls over his shoulders in oddly soft curls, it just covers smooth (why is this repeated so often) snakeskin along his spine. The snakeskin doesn't cover all of his body, stopping in ragged lines about a third of the way down his sides. It reappears around his ribs as curved, almost gill-like vents in a group of three on either side. Otherwise, his torso is covered with that same short, almost bristly fur. It continues along his tail and then gradually lengthens into a lion's tuft of fur at the tip. His legs are slightly longer than a lion's would be in proportion, but with the same thickness and broad paws with retractable claws. Overall, he stands at about 4.25 feet at the shoulder, his extra height given by his proportionally longer canine limbs. His weight is closer to a lion for his size, though he has some added bulk from the heavier canine half.
