Watching her sister, the tiny raptor attempted to copy the huff her sister had greeted her with. Masie was far too small to greet another creature that way, because the strength of the huff knocked off the fragile balance of her lanky body, causing her to roll several feet backwards. Once the small raptor righted herself? She seemed to look around to see if there was any reason for what had happened, as nothing near that had happened when Blue huffed, so she didn't exactly understand what had happened. So young, and inexperienced when compared to everyone else in the pack, but yet she was more mentally there than any of them expect maybe Owen so far as she had seen. Instead of getting upset about something she didn't understand right away? Masie sniffed her muzzle around the ground, looking at where she had been standing and making several huffs, growing in strength until one caused her body to jolt, aiding her in realizing what happened making a chittering laughter. Who would have thought she could make herself roll with just the strength of her own body! Oh, she'd be having fun with that later.
"Masie Fish" lashing her tail once the raptor turned tail and scampered off towards the only sound of running water nearby, a fresh water stream about fifty foot from the nest. At the edge of the stream she looked back to 'check' on Blue one more time before taking her first few steps into the stream. If she entered too quickly? The fish all startled and she caught nothing. After about five minutes, the little fisher had managed to hook a few large fresh water fish, about half her size. Of course, getting them back to Blue was a struggle, considering how small she was in comparison to the food she as bringing back, but it didn't deter her. At the very least she clearly wouldn't be afraid of taking on difficult or fearful tasks beside them when she grew larger.
Upon bringing the fish back around the nest, she would resort to carrying them over one at a time, unable to carry that many further than she already had. "Fish." she chittered as she set down one of the fish in front of blue, about two feet separating them, swiftly moving to get one of the other one's she had captured earlier. Once more, she had left them all alive, seemingly unknowing as to how to kill them. Heck, if Blue payed attention, she would eventually quickly learn that the small raptor had not yet been taught the proper usage of her jaws and sickle claw. Thus resorted to grabbing things with her tiny arms, stamping on it or otherwise using her body to manipulate it into death or helplessness. At points it seemed as if she may be just playing, but when she was fed, the infant clearly knew what food was, just not entirely how to secure it for herself apart from trampling and tearing apart innocent mice.
