She seemed to give Oni an almost too judgmental once over, tempted to 'tsk' at what she saw before her attention was easily piqued by the individual who should have been the subject of her curiosity to begin with. She'd taste the air quietly before flashing her pointed teeth, delighted by the idea of a Sunhavener - she had yet to happen across one - within their home. Agathe refused to say much else though, merely retaining an easy silence as she sized Pierce up like a predator might its prey. He was off limits, she knew that much, but it was still interesting to finally see the face of the Ascendants' recent anger.
It was his question that urged her to finally address him, a look that might have mirrored concern flashing temporarily upon her pale features. "One member is just as valuable as a thousand," She extended softly, not bothering to expand further on her words before rearing back on her haunches. Around her, her red cloak seemed to pool. If there was one good lesson that she had learned while serving as her matron's heir, it was that the loss of one could devastate the entire group. If Sunhaven didn't even wonder where this stranger had gone, they'd be idiots. But she worried that reassuring Pierce in that matter would be deemed inappropriate. They were technically enemies, after all, and he had been brought into the Observatory as a capture. Now was not the time for thinly veiled attempts at kindness and admittedly, Agathe was a bit shocked that she entertained such ideas to begin with.
