fire was the warmth that fought of the gelid cold and protected them from the deadly embrace of winter. fire was heat and life.
fire was also beautifully, powerfully destructive.
perhaps that was why she liked it so-- took comfort in something utterly lethal and yet pretty. absorbed the magnificent sight of the blossoming flame, the satisfying crackle and hiss against the wood it was nested from. the entrancing effects it often held upon her was dangerous.
"aah, if i'd have known you were going to do this, i would have brought marshmellows!"
cheeky grin settled onto her fine features, the icestriker wandered towards the blazing inferno like a moth drawn to flame.
"smores sound nice right about now... a high voice trailed off in the quiet subtlety of hunger.
