Of course, the one who was winning the most from this was the former slave, and good on him for escaping a bad place. Knowing that such compounds existed did leave the male with some apprehension, wondering how many were trapped in a life that wasn't their own to dictate, but as he strode over he tried not to think about it too much. It was an injustice, they needed to do something about it, but with Sunhaven casting a bloodied shadow over the Ascendants Ren wasn't keen on spreading himself too thin. Besides, there were things he needed to figure out about himself first... like the weird voices and memories he'd occasionally see around and about the camp.
