Head previously resting on small grey paws now rose from its comfortable position to glance around slowly, black icy stare moving from object to object as they tried to figure out where the sound came from. With a twitch of their long tail, the feline shifted their position from their side to a crouch beside the gnarled roots of the tree they were adjacent to. They were curious; they wouldn't lie to themselves or to others - not that they had the capabilities to lie anyways. They lacked many things if they compared themselves to the average person, this much they understood. As much as others may find it odd, Cronas thinks they're completely fine without trivial things such as emotions. All they do is get the in way after all and are too complicated to understand. Emotions would have people running in circles, hurting themselves for the sake of another who doesn't want them, making biased decisions because of how they feel and not to mention, taking unnecessary risks that could be completely avoid if even an ounce of logic and reasoning was brought forth. The feline didn't look down on the majority though as that would require pride and ego, both of which they do not have. They didn't think they were wrong for having emotions or making rash decisions based on them. They weren't jealous of them either despite never knowing what it means or how it feels to connect with another individual or even like anyone. To Cronas, everyone they've come across was or is "alright." Nothing more, nothing less. They didn't have individuals they were more "alright" with than others so they would always go it alone for whatever situation. And they were okay with that. They weren't controlled by mortal desires such as a need for companionship or being driven by hate or grief. They existed for themselves and only for themselves.
Although, it did make speaking with others quite a challenge.
Though his features remained expressionless, their attentive body language clearly showed they were curious. After a couple minutes of waiting for another call, Cronas shifted their position once more to a sitting one as abnormally pale visionaries stared into the distance. Head tilted to the side, the child waited longer before slowly rising to their paws and walking towards the sound. Delicate paws were carefully placed one after the other as their ears swiveled every so often to pick up any sounds. About halfway to their destination, they realized the path they were headed down was a route to the beach before switching to autopilot. If there's anything the pale cat knew, it was the various ways to get to the beach from anywhere in the territory. Subconsciously picking their way through the territory, autopilot was eventually powered off when the ground beneath their paws turned from grass to sand. Stopping in their tracks, they blinked their eyes a few times before gazing around the shore. It seemed as though they had checked out during their journey... Not that they minded. The beach was the most important part after all.
Inhaling the salty air through their nostrils and slowly exhaling through their mouth, Cronas involuntarily flicked their ear when he heard Goldenluxury's voice in the distance. Breathing a quiet "oh" when they noticed another with her, they continued down the beach towards them and stopping at the Dealer's side. The first thing they noticed was the newcomer's fatigued state of being. They noticed the way their bones could be seen from the thin layer of skin, green eyes were dull and if it wasn't for the exchange between the two, Cronas would have thought she was speaking to a corpse. Judging from his hoarse tone and malnourished body, he hasn't drunk or eaten anything in a while. They didn't particularly care for such details, but they suppose it was hard to ignore. Also, they couldn't tell their brain to stop noticing things and coming to conclusions based on those thoughts. Even if they had that ability they absolutely wouldn't use it. Observing and analyzing data, learning about anything and everything they can... That's their goal.
Also food. If it's eatable, they can and will eat it.
Sitting down, they made sure to get themselves comfortable first before speaking to the individual who introduced himself as Deadboy. "Cronas thinks there are other ways to be noticed. However, Deadboy's method will suffice as it proved fruitful." They said plainly, their face and oculars void of any emotion. Wrapping their tail around their paws, they continued. "Cronas would also like to inform Deadboy he is on Typhoon territory and if Deadboy wishes to stay, Deadboy must join as the Typhoon doesn't allow visitors of unknown backgrounds." It was blunt, but that's how they usually were and should never be taken personally. However, their ties with the Typhoon was about as strong as wet paper and if they could somehow turn a situation to benefit themselves, they would. "If Deadboy joins the Typhoon, Cronas and Deadboy can eat lots of delicious food together." They added with a single nod of their cranium, the closest to a smile the emotionless feline could get. This line would work on them so they assumed it would also work on a starved individual. It was no loss to them if their actions bore no fruit. This just meant the Typhoon didn't have to waste their resources on an individual who already appears half dead. Cronas wasn't sure if his name was ironic or a joke given the situation he was in. Whatever the case may be, even with their amazing persuasion skills, it was up to Deadboy to decide his next move.
After all, nobody likes disgusting filth on their property. Best to get rid of it as soon as possible, right?
