Ourias didn't have to wait as long as he had expected. A creature pulled itself forwards and requested his business. "I'm looking for three others." He knew they were here; the pull was too strong for them to be anywhere else. He didn't want to offer any more information to the first creature that had greeted him, and so his bright amber eyes turned away. The pull at his stomach grew stronger, and Ourias reacted. He straightened himself, standing so that he appeared taller, and his ears perked up. And then the cause of the pull, or one of them, made his appearance. Despite never having seen the manticore before, Ourias knew that this was who he was looking for.
Death was taller than him, but yet he couldn't feel intimidated. In fact, he felt more at ease around this stranger than he normally would have. At the words, Ourias moved past the border, ignoring whatever consequences may happen as a fault of it. "I'm here now." It wasn't a challenge, but something whispered for him not to apologize. A glance behind Death confirmed that the other two hadn't made an appearance yet. So it was just half of the four for now. "The other two are here?" Now, all he was waiting on was for his suspicions to be confirmed. If the other two weren't here, surely Death would have told him by now?
