She didn't mind being close to the water, hell, she preferred it. She had spent the majority of her childhood in the water, but she tried not to think about those times. Instead she focused on Morgan, watching him enter the shed and come back out with fishing rods and a bucket. She had never fished this way before, so she wasn't sure what to do, though she got the general idea by watching Morgan do it.
Aineias was almost hesitant to do it, considering how easy it would be to just dive in and catch a few fish the way she had always done it. But, considering the somber atmosphere the leader had about him, she decided to go ahead and humor him, picking up the rod and taking a seat beside him. Picking up some of the bait, she poked it onto the hook end and awkwardly cast it into the water.
"I was fine. I mean, I came back in one piece, that's gotta count for something." the feline says with a small shrug. She isn't sure if she's glad that he decided to speak or if she would have liked the silence better. Honestly, she didn't really want to think about her time away, but she would feel bad if she didn't reply. Things had obviously been hard on him.
As he goes on, she feels a pang of sympathy for him, for everyone that was here and that had disappeared. She can feel the ache grow when he finishes, but only because she can relate so much to his words. She had felt alone often in the past, especially recently. It was painful. "Yeah. I get that feeling." she admits before she can stop herself, heaving a slow sigh.
