Jerseyboy didn't mind, as long as they didn't prove to be an annoyance to him.

Triangular ears perked up in the direction of the other as they began to speak, and as he picked up on their tone, it was obvious that they viewed his actions in distaste. Not that Jerseyboy wasn't used to it; smoking in general was received with its fair share of criticism. Nonetheless, that did not make him want to smoke any less. Since when did he care what other people thought?
"but i think if you keep smoking those, maybe you'll soon be buried too deep underground to spoil my day. or you'll be pecked apart by the birds." Well, that was uncalled for. Their comments were unsolicited and unwelcome by him, and while anybody else may have ignored them or walked away, Jerseyboy wasn't one to simply let things go. "You tryin' to start somethin'?" The tuxedo tom challenged, a puff of smoke leaving his maw as he craned his head to send a glare towards Venus. "If you ain't, I'd suggest shuttin' ya' trap before I do." He grunted.
