[align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-size: 9.4pt; line-height: 1.4;"]Gabe hadn't slept properly since...Well, since he got back from The Typhoon. The headache was a serious plague by now, and though he knew he should talk to someone about it, he couldn't bring himself to do it. He was doubtful enough of it that he figured whatever remedies he'd get wouldn't work, or they wouldn't work for very long; he should just cope with it. It was only a headache. A brain-splitting, mind-numbing headache, but he'd suffered worse, so his biggest concern was just managing to sleep. Maybe he could knock himself out, though with his luck, that'd only worsen the pain and leave him unfortunately conscious. Even better- he could find one of the spooky shits running rampant and ask them to take his soul from his body before the headache did. What difference was there?
Gabe was pacing in his room in repeated circles, just about wearing down a path in the carpet in the hopes of exhausting himself enough to sleep, but the unfortunate part about that was how trained he was to keep going even when past the brink of complete fatigue. Trying to beat conditioning would take him a good long while, and maaybe he'd be lucky enough to fall asleep walking. He'd done it in the past.
Of course, as soon as he got into a good rhythm, there was a loud slam that echoed down the hall, a pregnant silence, and then Moon shouting. Exhaling heavily, Gabe didn't even bother opening the door, simply walking through several rooms and then poking his head through the wall, into Moon's place. "Try shouting louder. I don't think everyone heard you."
