getting dragged on a late patrol was rank. getting dragged on a patrol where said patrol was going to be targeted by familiar ghosts that the kitsune wouldn't actually be able to see was even worse.
as the flashes of familiar grounds raced past the teen's vision, the more venus lamented their position on the patrol. they were a solbinder - were they expected to heal intruders to death? yet no matter how long the kitsune berated their position on the team, the angry spouts were of no use to actually getting this demeaning task done, and as bucky stopped so suddenly in his tracks venus was dreading the extra time the patrol would have to spend out here if an intruder showed up.
"hey! earth to buck!" venus barked at the dazed sunhavener crabbily. irritation pricked at the teen's mind, pressed about the fact that this little moment was eating out at the time the patrol had to spend out on the border when all venus wanted to do was go back to their lab. whatever bucky was seeing, venus sure wasn't. the kitsune turned back around to the rest of the patrol as if to make sure that they weren't the only one not seeing something.
