Theirs had not been a childhood touched with what it held now, rather it was in the days when it was more centred around witchcraft and pranks than the act of going about for candy, though that too had been their experience. As an adult they had seen the raise of the shift, watching it become something more light hearted, made for the children rather then cloaked in the dark. All too old they had barely entertained the idea of participating, allowing no children near their practice, and so the years had gone by, each never acknowledging it.
Things seemed different here, the oddities about this time drawing them in. “Seems rather pointless,” moving closer the fox made their opinion on the matter well known, uncaring for all of it within general. Never one for a sweet tooth they would pass on the candy as a whole, decorating and donning costumes something they viewed as redundant. Yet they lingered, eyeing the gourds and listening to the others as they spoke with Ymir, confused on all of this as though she took held no prior experience with Halloween as a whole.
