He would just pass out -and potentially die- three sheets to the wind against a tree instead. And there was a shitload of trees to choose from, so he could throw up on one and find another to sleep under. Trevor doubted he had too much to worry about out here, where his last name carried no weight and probably wouldn't incite anyone to ranting hysterics. Probably. Considering how frequently God liked taking a shit in his dinner, he wasn't going to bet on anything, both for that and the fact his mind was a little...muddled at the moment. Not muddled enough, if he was managing to give a shit about the ol' family name. Any luck there'd be a tavern out here he could drink himself into oblivion inside? Ugh, he was starting to sober up already. Fucking watered beer.
The wolf's shoulder hit yet another tree, and Trevor exhaled, wondering how reasonable it would be to beat the shit out of a giant plant. Not at all, most likely, which made it the perfect plan- once his vision cleared up, anyway. He'd let it go for now, though it wasn't like anybody'd miss a single tree out of this fucking forest.
"This is a good spot," he muttered, slurring slightly, and the wolf collapsed at the foot of the trunk with a pitiful groan. Trevor curled into his tattered cloak, careful not to move too much because this was his spot to sleep, not puke. People could say what they wanted, but at least Trevor never stooped so low as to sleep in his own vomit.
Blue eyes slipped shut, and he nestled further in, a bit more comfortable despite the root digging obnoxiously into his spine. Despite the birds bitching in just about every other tree, and despite the sound of leaves rustling, and despite the breeze flicking a stray cloak string against his cheek. "Oh, for fuck's sake." He couldn't sleep.
