Stopping for a moment, the lion watched their breaths. Neon eyes observed their rising chest in partial concern. Their breathing seemed heavy and depleted, as most slaves did, but the prideful lion felt himself sway towards the cell wall and peek in further.

Before walking off to his usual session with the female, he clicked his claws against the barrier to gain the stranger's attention. "Why are you here?" he inquired curiously. Unlike his fellow Pittians, the lion liked to have motivation (that usually he called justice, but in reality was revenge) and felt pity towards those captured without reason. The Purge, while meaningful to tradition, was rather lame. A capture contest was motivating, but not enough to make him feel truly satisfied. Hopefully this angel was not a victim of that.
