It was working but he couldn't sit here and hold it for long. He had to make his move or else he would lose the change right? This was what he had come for anyway, to see if he could actually capture someone while actively using his mental abilities. Flicking his tail back and forth slowly the large beast crouched and he slipped forward as the feline crouched against the ground. He could almost taste her fear and her confusion considering she had been just walking through the jungle a few moments before. Lowering his head a bit the beast would allow his tail to softly brush against ferns, ears pulling back tighter against his skull. He then proceeded to lunge forward aiming to clamp his jaws around the scruff of the much smaller creature and then he would swing her if he managed to get her. Jerking her up with him so take her away from this place and across the land bridge, running at a rather quick speed.
