the male's voice sent him absolutely soaring. he couldn't help but grin when he saw quill approaching. he eased down to drop the boombox beside him, and carded through the cassettes he had discovered. he pushed a few to quill and discarded a few others that he didn't think were that interesting for the moment.

"m'kay, so. side a of this one is a mix of bon jovi, the clash, and a special add on of the final countdown by Europe. side b is paul mccartney, michael jackson, and an old favorite of mine; marvin gaye's get it on." he raised a metaphorical brow with a smug grin at quill, pushing the cassette into the stereo and skipping to the song. the opening riff was absolute music to his ears.
