MONROE
MALE — SUNHAVEN — HELION — HARD
"Stella?" One the air came his cautious voice, breath a slow exhalation but also so hesitant because he couldn't believe this was real. When they had went to find there after only the gods knew what happened they had been met with an emotionless dead end. But he was so sure that the Pitt had something to do with her disappearance and as time dragged on and there was no more further evidence the trail had gotten cold and time no longer matter. The male knew that Stella was dead and she wasn't coming back and he blamed them for it. There was no other explanation and their scent had been all over the place. He still remembered the blood and the way things looked, it haunted him sometimes but at the end of the day he had had to move on. Even though they had gotten into arguments he still felt for her. He couldn't just turn his feelings off on a dime though he couldn't force himself himself to admit to them and then she was taken away from him. Gone just like that.
He had become leader shortly after that and there was nothing else for him to do but to force himself into the role. Declaring the Pitt enemies for both Stella's death as a way to avenge her and also his capture and torture by Stryker. He anticipated something from the Pitt because news traveled but they had grown quiet and he was thankful for that. Sunhaven was not of the militaristic mind but that also didn't mean that they would protect their own when the time came to rise up. He did not think killing was wrong, it was justified when the means was protecting themselves. He'd allow it. He would allow capture if it meant keeping his loved ones safe. But he couldn't keep everyone safe and not even himself. Raptors from the Typhoon tearing his members apart and unapologetic scum that caused problems. Pearl colored eyes closed for a moment to force back so many troubling thoughts before he pushed himself through the tall grass. His body was rigid and unsure as he gaze upon the pale lioness, eyes shifting over the figure that looked so malnourished. "Stella...." He couldn't help but speak her name again, to try and understand that this was real.
"Are ya really....? Ya came back tae m-, I mean us." He swallowed thickly tail shifting and pressing against his body as if he was vulnerable, bandages wrapped around his midsection stiff and uncomfortable. His gaze shifted down then for a short moment as the overly mutated feline flexed his webbed paws against the ground. Ah, he was so bad at this and he had always been bad at talking to her. This was no the first time and he struggled to form words. "It's good tae see ya again, lass. Ya look like ya could eat a whole horse right now. Come on, I'll take ya back tae the village. How..how are ya feeling?" He lifted his head up then actually meeting her sea green eyes with his pearl colored ones, showing more feelings in his gaze then he could ever have spoken.
