he had seen sephiroth break off from the group some time ago, barely catching a glimpse of what the lion had gone after. the snow leopard paused the group after a while and padded back along the path to see if he could find the other, leaving their protection to jiyu, pey, and the other strong creatures there. stone blue eyes finally settled upon silver fur dragging dark brown through the thinning woods, and with ears perked forward, the pharaoh smiled lightly. "good catch," he rumbled, padding forward to meet sephiroth and taking the back legs into his jaws to help carry it back.

the others would be glad to have a good meal, especially after the lack of food recently. it would give them strength to keep moving forward and help to brighten their spirits some; with the prey seeming to have moved with them, the eating would be good for some time, he hoped. prestige curled his tail lightly as he and sephiroth padded on. through his teeth, tongue thick with elk, the male murmured,"how are you faring?"
