He was a hardy beast, but if the cards weren’t played right new and dangerous land could prove challenging to manage. It was the trip to the new base that left him on edge, his senses outstretched and alert more than ever. The thought still lingered at the back of his mind that if he was more keen in the ear he could’ve prevented the fire, but he choose not to linger on the past too much when the future was right ahead of him and demanded full attention.Which is why he found himself racing through the open landscape between new and old territory with his paws thundering on the ground chasing after an elk that had been unfortunate enough to catch his eye. Another thing about the Roseblood is that he never gave up, which was both an advantage and a disadvantage at the same time. He had been tailing the large prey animal for a little bit now and his pale sides were starting to heave, his heart felt like it was going to burst out of his chest, and his vision was starting to blur ever so slightly. His feet still carried him forewords as the elk ran a straight line with a bleat for help that didn’t come. No one dare to challenge a hungry predator as persistent as Sephiroth.
His salvation and victory came when a rocky wall that made up a Cliffside came in front of the terrified prey, and it was forced to balk and try to sprint to the side. But the pause gave the lion just enough time to take a sideways step and lunge foreword to grasp the elk by the throat with his teeth and wrap his forelegs around the neck and shoulders. A scared call came in the horrifying last moments of life from the prey as Sephiroth hauled the creature down to the ground and a jerk of the head and a harsh snap of bone ended the life of his victim.
Sephiroth grunted softly as he brought himself to his paws, grabbing the elk’s lifeless form by the throat as he lifted it up and started the haul back to the rest of the Roseblood group. Everybody could use a good warm meal to replenish their energy on this trip and especially after everything that happened in the past few days. He didn’t search for praise at all, but he hoped his work would at least be appreciated.
[align=center]Sephiroth is a large male lion with a pale, almost white body and a silver mane. He has blue green eyes with slit pupils. He is the Pharaoh of the Rosebloods. He is currently unstable and volatile, hearing a voice called Mother in his head and is believing himself to be a god. He has enhanced senses, conjuration, and mental manipulation and communication, and is hard to fight in battle. He is based on the character of the same name from Final Fantasy VII.
