Oh tradition, and promotions? The child sauntered over interested, he gave a smile in regards that Tsuyu was now no longer a slave, naturally that was something to be happy about right? Yep at least he should see it as that. Probably taking it a chance to congratulate Tsuyu but seeing that her emotion clearly read that it would probably be best not to adress it yet, since her promotion brought some anger in regards to someone else.
