prestige was happy to be back, and though he could not remember the entirety of his time spent on his own, he knew well that it was not a pleasant stage in his life. he was glad to have moved past it, into a new time of his life, and though leading was a large stress for him, he wasn't sure if he would have wished it any other way.
the snow leopard patrolled the territory on his own at times, enjoying the quiet of the forest, alone with his thoughts for once during a rather busy day. not far off from him he heard a voice; blueridge, appearing to be questioning someone, by the sound of it. pres picked up his pace ever so slightly and lifted his head as the duo came into view. his heart stuttered briefly in his chest, fear prickling beneath his fur, upon the sight of the lion at their border. though he knew it wasn't the lioness—this one had a mane and was far more scrawny—he couldn't help the gnawing fear in the back of his mind that he was here to finish the job.
prestige let out a slow breath, plastering a smile upon his face as he neared blueridge and the stranger. "hello," he rasped out. he fell silent after that, simply coming to stand beside the small domestic feline, watching the newcomer with vague interest. blue had already asked the essential question; all they had to do was wait and decide if this lion was trustworthy or not.
