dmitri was not an unfamiliar face. but a familiar face not always meant a familiar soul.

there were others living within them. that much she knew. that much she could gather. one entity. split several ways. and it intrigued her to no end. dmitri and his alters had been an enigma to her ever since he had confessed to those living within his body. an enigma she wanted to discover, and her perception of multiple personalities was skewed. she only knew so much. but that was what made it all alluring.

anything she had little to no knowledge of, was a mystery. a mystery that absolutely needed to be explored until she knew every tidbit of knowledge on the topic there was to know. her knowledge for the strange was insatiable. and it was like hunger. something that needed to be fed.

but there hadn't been any time for that. strangers came. and they invaded and they gloated their insignificant victory-- a victory soon to be stripped from them. how foolish, they were. she'd laugh when they were cast down from their temporary throne and stryker's stolen crown was ripped from their false head. she didn't dislike them because of what they had done to snowbound, no. she

shortly before everything went to hell, dagon had assumed control over the arcticstriker. she could tell when the male had taken possession-- aside from the shift in body, he had always been more... self-assured, from what she had gathered. commanding. bristly, at some point, where he had snapped at atbash.

but this was different. and he seemed to be no longer, at least for now.

dmitri's body stepped from their cabin. she had seen enough of the articplayer from before to know that this tabby vessel was his central body, that much she assumed. yet he she did not appear the same. they were even more so timid than usual, speaking in soft words and a higher pitched voice laced with fright. issuing concern for their safety. safety was boring. safety was an illusion. she cared little for herself. cared little in the way that she believed that the consequence of the body-- the flesh, the weak, weak flesh, was something that should be ignored. safety led to worry. worry led to concern. concern lead to weakness and hindrance.

she did not need that in her life.

she caught wind of uttered words. of hesitation abominable self preservation. she happened to be wondering close by, limber feet against powdery alabaster snow. an eye as deep and rich as the ocean's belly fluttered in surprise at the body-- dmitri's body.
"who's delta?" was her first question, and then a second. slower this time. "and who are you?" she was not sure if it was dmitri. she was observant, but a shift in alters without the telltale signs of a distinct behavioral trait or a body change was jarring.

"if you really want to venture outside, i could accompany you... it would not be so bad going alone, right?"
she could familiarize herself with this supposed stranger. it was all she needed.
SHE'S GOT THE GLOW IN HER MOUTH
