With several different scents clinging onto his coat, the lupine trotted about without much of a care in the world. He wore his headphones listening to the music that had came with his cassette, he had made sure that said cassette player was pushed in properly so it didn't fall out of his metallic leg. He breathed and would listen to these songs passionately, his eyes were half closed as he continued to trot along before realizing that there was sand underneath his paws did he stop for a moment. He would slowly put the headphones down around his throat to look at the sand still being able to hear the song though more faintly "Huh, wonder where I am." His metallic claws would dig into the sand underneath him trying to grab a good pawful though he'd watch as said sand would slip through his robotic appendages talon-like claws. He hadn't seen a desert in forever and this peaked his curiosity as well as interest of the area, he moved forward with his ears angled forward taking a soft breath in. Several odors clung to Quill, some pleasant and others not so pleasant though he supposed that happened when he went around rummaging through the junk or getting wounded while stealing some valuables. He had a bit of those hiding under his bandana that had been given to him by Jackdaw. It wasn't much, of course, just some rings of gold, silver, and a few other items. A few jewels. Nothing too grand. Maybe he'd trade some of them for other stuff but he didn't know what he'd want. One day for sure.

The idiot hadn't realized that he had trudged over the border but once he did, he would stop though his attention diverted over in the direction of a pyramid. It reminded him of Egyptian culture though he wasn't very educated in it, his jaws parted a bit to let out a yawn. He would sit down only to lift up his arm, he proceeded to scratch underneath his bandana with a bit of a sleepy yet relaxed expression painted on his face. He used a metallic claw to lift up a single bud to his ear only to start humming a bit of the tune, the residents here would surely be displeased but he was only a short ways away from the marker itself.
