Human fashion trends were strange, and progressively stranger as they evolved. Yet perhaps the strangest would be the notion that the animal kingdom would catch onto their worthless habits, too. The poltergeist wasn't so much bothered by the various accessories donned by his peers as much as he was confused; why would anyone want to stab a metal rod into skin for who knows how long? With the amount of earrings flaunted around by the buccaneers around him, Beck occasionally stared at the jewelry and wondered just how much the piercing bled.
He didn't realize there were other places people sought to adorn themselves with embedded rings and rhinestones. Even with all the television programs he watched into the early hours of dawn. Of course, he couldn't see any addition to the unknown feline's tongue, but the small ring in his grasp -- an iridescent speck to him from afar -- was enough to cause curiosity to rear its ugly head. Beck wasn't quite certain where Kirishima planned on going, but he stalked behind nevertheless, bandaged paws silent despite the crowded jungle floor. The other's pace slowed to arrive at an unfamiliar house, but as he went to knock, the little feline took his chance to question the bizarre thing. Materializing from thin air besides the russet tabby, he let out a hoarse wheeze before inching forward to view the ring without a myopic film obscuring its form. "What's that thing?" he croaked in an unpleasantly shrill voice, brows pinching together in bewilderment. A freezing paw made a move to snatch the piercing from Kirishima's grip, although he didn't care if he managed to swipe it for a brief moment for further observation.
