Her steps were sure-footed, confident. It was as if the owner knew this place. It was as thought the owner were taking a long walk home. A self-assured look marked her black and white features. This wasn't home, she knew... This wasn't home by any stretch of the word, but Brynhild knew it could be.

Large, snow-capped paws pushed upward, against the soft grasses underfoot. Pale emerald eyes squinted in the harsh sunlight, and in that moment, the owner was fully aware of the heat that graced her pelt. Once fully upright, the Norwegian forest cat swiveled her head to assess her surroundings... Where was she?
Confusion glittered in her gaze, and an ivory paw lifted to grace her neck. Her stare was straight forward, unwavering. The puzzlement on her features melted away almost instantly despite the rising worries and frustrations that were building in her chest. This place was not home. Then again, where was home again?

Brynhild stood then, facing the lands of the Ascendants. The air stirred around her, and green eyes shifted to glance at the limbs moving in the breeze. A fictional eyebrow arched as the scent of rain on the distance reached her nose.
No, that couldn't be right... The young girl's face skewed up.
