If Caesar had seen Beck whenever the former leader had him trapped, he definitely would have recognized the ghost. But unfortunately, Beck was hidden whenever that happened. And besides, the only thing Caesar really remembered of that encounter was getting caught, being bitten by some largeass dog, and seeing Vigenere. Seeing his brother alone was enough to send the Officer into shock and immediately made him regret popping by Tanglewood. Hence why he didn't stay for very long after being released from Beck's trap.

Caesar's ears pricked as he noticed Beck walking along the beach, though the boy didn't seem to notice him. Or, at least... didn't seem to care. That was frustrating to say the least. He was motherfucking Caesar Cipher, an Officer here! The least Beck could have done was acknowledge him, but the damn ghost seemed too preoccupied with finding trash on the beach. Suddenly, an idea popped into his head and a mischievous grin popped into his maw. Beck seemed to be purposely avoiding the water as much as he could - which was understandable, sure, since Caesar himself didn't want to get into it, buttt that did give the demon an idea. Slowly and cautiously, Caesar would rise to his paws and try to stalk Beck from behind.

Of course, with it being sand he was walking on, that might be a little hard, but still; it wouldn't hurt to just fucking try, right? As he got closer to BECK, Caesar grinned and leaped at the boy, trying to send him into the water. If successful, Caesar would also try to hold the kid's head down under the water. Of course, if he wasn't able to get Beck deeper into the ocean in the first place, his second attempt would be null.
