BASTILLEPRISONER AURELIUS
BY THE GRACE OF THE FIRE AND THE FLAMES
Bastille's issues with vision seemed to be the exact opposite of blindness. There were times when he simply saw too much: when his vision was suddenly overlain with glimpses of the past, flicking memories superimposed on top of the present and corrupting his sense of reality. He of course had Pollie to thank for the slip, but things had changed recently; now he saw his own memories, too, or memories from his other souls, as opposed to just the same sights Pollie had borne. It was... getting better, somewhat. Lessening. That morning his vision was clear, which was just clear enough to spot his Fireball headed for a stranger.
To his relief, Oni was in a better mood, which meant non-aggressive. While Bast wasn't much of a decent greeter himself, he still felt that he could at least try to encourage better manners in Oni. Somewhat. "Yo," he drawled as he stopped beside them, eyeing the... trapped paw boredly, "How do you even get stuck life that?" He didn't sound hostile, just speculative.

Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror years ago, Idealism sits in prison, chivalry fell on his sword, Innocence died screaming; honey, ask me, I should know, I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door. [sup]▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃[/sup]
