When it came to her view on the leader, she still wasn't quite sure what to think of him. His seemingly permanent grin made her uneasy, and his brutish way of doing things tipped her off even further. On top of all that, though, she still felt an odd feeling of familiarity whenever she saw him. It felt like they had met before, though she couldn't quite place how or why. Either way, she never brought it up, fearful of what his reaction might be. It was probably best to leave it in the past, anyways.
Out by the water, Cosette had been hoping for a little bit of peace and quiet, some time to herself. Evidently that wouldn't be the case this time around. Her eyes caught a shape moving underneath the water, the female leaning in closer to try and see what it was before being startled, jumping up onto her paws and stumbling back. She landed flat on her butt, nearly falling onto her back. Wide amber eyes looked up at the fox.
"What-who-um, oh," she stammered, trying to catch her bearings. "Well, I was just, uh, getting a drink," she was oblivious to attempts at flirting, though her face did feel warm at his last comment, giving him a shy smile. Then she fell silent, waiting for him to address her again. She didn't want to speak out of turn.
