Cosette wasn't the type to stand out in the crowd, or the kind to lead it, even. She was just a nameless member in the flock. Really, she had always believed she was barely apart of it. Growing up, she had it drilled into her mind that she was beneath everyone, and now she just accepted it as fact. There were just some people who were born to have their life dictated by others. Sometimes she felt like she should have just accepted the position of slave to these people, as she would know what to do better than she did now. At least she wouldn't be ambling around for no reason, unsure what to do unless someone told her.

Such as today, the serval was mindlessly walking around the camp, growing somewhat concerned as the buildings disappear and turn into nothing but trees and vegetation. She didn't want to get lost, though she couldn't help wondering what use it would be if she didn't. Either way, it probably didn't matter that much. She wasn't of much use to the Pitt so far.

When a body of water came into view, she padded over to it's edge and bent down, lapping up the cool water. It was refreshing in such a hot climate. She remembered one of the members cautioning her to bring water around with her, but she hadn't touched the pouch for it since she set up her home. She could do that later, for now she would lay down at the bank, watching the sun shine down on the water's surface.
