Gordon remembered Persephone giving Pierce this task, mostly because she had given Gordon the task of the beach party at the same time. But to say Gordon was excited for this was a different story; parties meant there was going to be a lot of people, and although Sunhaven was nowhere near the size of The Ascendants, Gordon still couldn't help but feel a prickle of anxiety at the idea of going to a place where there was going to be a lot of people. But the small Hearthkeeper told herself that she had to do this and that she could do this, she just had to remain calm and not focus on everything.

Gordon took in a breath as she marched up Pierce's steps, trying to calm the beating of her heart, which honestly felt like it was going to come out of her chest. She may be over-exaggerating a bit, but that's honestly what it felt like. This is okay. Gordon told herself. You'll be okay. She had to repeat that to remind herself to stay calm. It... might not help in the long run, especially if some tension rises in the air, but at least she could be somewhat controlled for now. "H-hey, Pierce!" Gordon greeted as she entered the male's home, ducking her head a bit to make sure she was allowed inside. Of course she was, this was a party after all, but the fact she seemed to be the only one here scared her a bit. People just haven't arrived yet. She pointed out to herself with a mental frown.
