Sleeping in your shack and expecting one of them to catch fire so suddenly was definitely not in his agenda. Or at least not at the moment. The king cheetah had been sound asleep in his bed, resting up due to his sick attitude which with every passing day he was getting better and better, his pelt turning from that weird pale white sick look to his normal sleek cream fur. His body shifted to the side as he let out a groan and felt his nose beginning to clog up with the annoying mucus that plagued him for a month now, sniffling his nose and eventually opening his eyes due to barely being able to breathe. Upon lifting his head, the first thing the king cheetah could make out was a weird sense of gray clouds coming through his shack window, Marcel lifting himself to his paws and looking out the window to see a large burning fire in the distance. For a moment he thought nothing of it due to his tired nature, but upon taking a few moments to realize the severity of the situation, the king cheetah burst open his door and landed outdoors, paws sinking in the sand and slowing his movements.
Marcellus turned and began to walk at a brisk pace, unable to run with only his three legs and the sand burying his paws under the grains. Before he went he grabbed a wooden bucket in his jaws by the metal handle, moving as quick as he could to the scene and filling his bucket with water. The king cheetah thrashed his head to the side harshly to get off all the water onto the burning fire, getting enough of the fire to calm it down a little bit. Marcel repeated this process over and over until the flames were down enough for anyone to go inside the charred shack. Huffing and panting at his lack of air from repeating the tedious process, the male dropped the bucket to the ground and looked at the others, beginning to take a few steps forwards and into the shack to see Luca lying on the floor, his body looking way different than it did before. For a moment he wondered who this was as it looked like Luca yet at the same time it didn't, the king cheetah confused and unsure. However, he would take the risk and aim to prod Luca's new body with his paws, hoping to wake the male up. A mix of emotions rang through Marcellus, angry, annoyed, worried. Actually worried for Luca's safety? He was. Even if he did annoy the sickly male a bit he still cared for Luca.
