If one animal who was large compared to some domestic cat was shocking than Lydia was in for another shock. Not far behind Pey was the other guard the mansion boasted, though boasted was really the wrong word to describe someone who functioned more like a corpse than an actual living feline. Colored paws trod the ground in time with their snowy hind twins, nothing else on her seeming to move as she silently approached, breathing and heartbeat so light they almost weren't there. Jiyu stopped right beside the other guard, smaller than him but was still nearly two foot tall compared to the meager roughly ten inches most domestic cats got up to. Plus? The calico's size was rarely the intimidating thing about her. Instead, Jiyu could be frightening for some because of the sabered fangs hanging from her top jaw, and the dead absent look in her eyes, as if nothing was there even if she was staring right at them, interacting. Until someone got to know how things went, she was barely intimidating compared to larger beasts, just odd, but if someone spent long enough 'getting to know her' they'd find the twisted monster that rested inside her stoic exterior.

The other female had expressed an interest in joining, Pey was a good communicator even if he had much to learn about the world. Mismatched optics looked over and up at her fellow guard, she wasn't going to speak here, he could do the speaking and it would likely turn out much better than if she stuck her own words into it. Silence, creepy as it made her seemed, was often one of the best things she did, it took out so much risk and made protecting everyone easier. If she didn't have to strain to partake in the social setting? She could scan the surrounding area for any sign of threats, like she was doing now.
