He felt guilty for scaring her. A sheepish smile spread across his lips as he waited for her to calm down. He understood how it felt to be caught off guard. He slowly padded a little closer, deciding to take a seat and see what was on her mind. He suspected that there must be something bothering her if she was so easy to scare. He shifted around a bit and waited for her to speak, glancing at the supplies again as she mentioned a party before returning his gaze to her face. Maybe that was what was causing her so much trouble. He hadn't talked to Deldrach much (or at all) but he was sure that they must deserve a party if Goldie was going through so much effort. Especially when injured.
As for what brought him there... Luca let out a shot fake laugh, a hint of worry carried beneath the two syllables. He wasn't going to admit the truth, not at first anyway, but the Rouxs tended to pull that sort of thing out of him. At least Goldenluxury had given him a couple other topics to focus on. After all, she didn't seem to be in too good of a state either. He rubbed at his cheek a little, trying to decide on how to word stuff. He knew how she felt when it came to the stutter- he had a nasty one himself as a child, and it came back whenever he entered his blue eyed state. "Ah, it's okay. I get the same when I'm stressed," he admitted, deciding that it was fine for a child to get to know his weaknesses. If she grew up into an asshole he'd just deal with that when the time came. "I ain't got no reason for being here, just wanted to chat. Uh, is there somethin' bothering you? Cuz we can always talk about that if you want." He curled his tail around his paws, tilting his head at his companion.
