"Afraid of getting sick and dying, Mother?"
Words clipped and cool accompanied the appearance of the tiny bengal, her expression unreadable as she glared first at Aphra and then Marcellus and Bakugou. The latter two, unfamiliar to Cleo, earned a significantly softer expression, though one still composed with nobody's interest in mind save hers. She was not done being angry at the Typhoon nor did she think she'd ever be but this pair... well, she didn't know them enough to extend them the full range of her fury. Besides, Marcellus appeared sick and almost physically incapable of standing before them now, the coughs that riddled his form sounding absolutely awful in nature- perhaps trying to be blindly angry at him would seem more insensitive and less understanding than she wished to be perceived as.
Rolling her shoulders, the girl would sit down, a paw raising absently to permit Eshe to readjust herself. [color=#445544]"My name is Cleo," She greeted quietly, voice quiet and faraway, [color=#445544]"And this is my snake, Eshe. You'll need to talk up if you want me to hear you, I'm half deaf." Almost full deaf, but they don't need to know that, She'd think to herself, a troubled look passing over her light colored features briefly. "My sister's a sage. Maybe she can check you out? Heal you?" At this point, Cleo was attempting to make very poor small talk, the child unsure of what else to discuss and most definitely freaked out by the presence of her mother here.
