'Kind of okay' was a good way to describe Luca's general state of being as well. He wasn't doing great, but he was never doing great, so anything aside from horrible was pretty good in his books. As long as he wasn't seeing the shadows move out the corner of his eye or hearing his father's voice echoing in his head, he was fine. He was fine. Not fine enough to be alone though. The silence that filled the gaps between conversations was deafening, and Luca would kill to get rid of the empty ringing in his ears. No one seemed to be out though, and he was starting to get a little desperate in his search. If he didn't find someone to talk to soon he'd have to resort to the good old breaking and entering that had served him so well in the past. Usually he could brush his desperation for attention off as an act of a joke, and people forgot about it after a baked good or two.
Time stretched on and his patience grew thinner. He could feel his paws start to shake, and knew that he would have to find company immediately or face another of his breakdowns. So he headed towards the closest house. Pincher's submarine, if he remembered correctly. Probably not. His memory was as shitty as the rest of him. Luca managed to find his way in without breaking anything this time, glancing around for the captain. Pinch had been pretty nice to him last time he was in a vulnerable state, so he was half hoping for the same sort of comfort now. The wildcat didn't seem to be present at the moment though, and Luca's ears pinned back against his head. No dice.
It was the subtlest of sounds that drew his attention towards Goldie's room. Perhaps the sound of a pawstep, or maybe something scraping against something else. Whatever it was, it was a break from the violent ambience of the island, so he eagerly headed towards it. "Hello?" he called as he wandered in, laying eyes on the younger of the Rouxes that lived there. Goldie hadn't been who he had expected to find, but he still seemed extremely revealed to spot another living animal. Maybe now he could convince himself for just a little longer that he wasn't alone in the world, trapped in his own mind and fabricating everything around him. He stared at the supplies on the floor for a bit and tilted his head, allowing his gaze to flicker back towards Goldenluxury. "Whatcha doing?" Looked like party stuff. He was always down for a party.
