the girl was actually feeling kind of okay today. she had gotten some sleep last night and was distracting her thoughts with a book. and, she had some apple juice! she loves apple juice. she was generally not one to read, as it was difficult for her to do, but she was interested in the ocean and marine life, so she was able to read books on those pretty well.
goldie sipped away at the juice, scanning over a page detailing lion's mane jellyfish quietly. she had been reading alone for a while, though, and was starting to grow bored of sitting in her bed, even if she was supposed to. so, she pushed herself upward slowly, blinking around the room before crawling out of bed carefully. she didn't fall this time, so that meant she was at least getting better.
there was a small pile of various supplies, most of which would be expected at some sort of party, like confetti. she was still trying to figure out ways to help out deldrach, and she had came to the conclusion that planning some sort of surprise party was a good idea. not only could it be fun, but it'd give her an excuse to ask people to check up on the female to make sure that she was...okay. that decius hadn't gotten to her. she was going to make sure it wouldn't happen.
goldie sighed and began to organize the pile a little, her legs struggling and shaking through the movement. she would need to figure out what the reasoning for the party would be. she could always just say for fun, but that may cause decius to grow suspicious. his threats lingered in her mind and she knew she would need this to go as smoothly as possible. no one could know what was really going on, as much as she wanted to tell. she just needed to focus on what she could do for now.
