Argus appreciated sparring competitions, it was a way to alleviate boredom in a way and keep the spirits high, and in a way it was a distraction to the bubbling frustration over the last encounter the quartermaster had on the beach with a few choice medics- one in particular coming to mind. It would be a way to get rid of that pent up stress, at least for now until they can get it addressed.
