[align=center][div style="width:500px; maxheight:; text-align: justify; font-size:9.5pt;"]B had been in a few scraps in his time, though nothing serious, and rarely with someone who could genuinely pose a threat to him. He'd seen dangerous people a few times, had recognized that look in their eyes and the shadows of their every movement, but what could he say? The circus had kept him around to look pretty and keep people entertained, not to handle their "business." Did that keep him from poking his nose into it? No. It was mostly good fortune and the ability to chatter that had kept him from boiling in hot water, and both had kept him relatively safe thus far. Saying that had him looking for a bit of wood to knock, just in case; luck was fickle stuff, after all, which was why the lion didn't slip off when the announcement was made.
He was intrigued by the opportunity. Much of B's life was a physical language, and he knew his own body, its limits and skills, so he wasn't apprehensive about his ability to perform. If anything, he was anxious to begin- he just wasn't certain what such a small creature would teach given their difference in compositions. Lions were essentially big cats, but dissimilar densities and centers of balance would mean B'd have to translate his lessons. Ah well. Wouldn't be the first time.
The lion followed after the metal-limbed fellow to the beach, humming to himself for a moment, though listening attentively as another person he hadn't met yet -Ilijas- spoke. [color=#2f87af]"Y'know, sitting on people seems to do the trick for me most of the time."
